In 1 Samuel 9:1-3 Saul was sent on a task that eventually led him to become King of Israel, but first, he was sent on a mission by his father to go find donkeys that were lost. He was going to be a ruler but was first tasked with a servants job. Obedience in the little things led to much bigger things later.
